Report: A Runaway Inequality Workship in North Carolina

On Saturday, September 8 the Alliance for Economic Justice co-presented a Reversing Runaway Inequality workshop with the Cape Fear Group of the Sierra Club, the Communication Workers of America, and Cape Fear River Watch. This workshop was in solidarity with the Peoples Climate Movement’s “Rise for Climate, Jobs, and Justice” campaign. As such, we did an additional activity on the impact of RNI on the environment in addition to making Activity 8 focused on how to convert a local environmental issue (Gen-x in the water) into political action during the mid-terms.
