Jim Henry sent us a video about the recent workshop Indivisible St. Johns, in St. Augustine Florida, ran. Jim says the video is a little down and dirty, because he was facilitating the workshop as well as shooting the video, but hopes it still gets out the word about what’s happening in these events all over the country.
A group called Sustainable Staten Island organized a conference on the anniversary of the first Women’s March of a coalition of grassroots community groups and organizations. Under the #SIUnited2018 banner, they gathered to build a strong progressive movement in New York City’s most conservative borough. Visit the conference website for more. A friend writes: “I have a small book club reading Runaway Inequality as part of our Indivisible Suffragists Group. We will finish the first week in November. What should our next steps be? There’s a training going on right now in Woodbury Heights NJ, with CWA Local 1038. There’s another session scheduled for tomorrow.
